1981
Every vision starts with a dream, and for Kirsten & Tulleken Transport that dream started in 1981 with founder Andre Tulleken and a red ‘bakkie’ he purchased from his father to do his very first delivery.
1984
From there, his passion for his trade only grew, and in 1984, Kirsten & Tulleken Transport officially started delivering quality stone and sand to contractors and builders great and small in the Southern Cape and surrounds.
Today
Today, the Kirsten & Tulleken Transport team is a well-oiled machine, driving the success of their clients’ endeavours throughout the wider Garden Route district. “We operate more as a family than a business. We believe that the service we deliver says more about our business than our product. That is why our open-door policy extends to all our employees and clients” according to Andre Tulleken.
The Future
Even though the building industry has been hit by at least two major obstacles in the past 40 years, Kirsten & Tulleken Transport has remained a constant. Andre Tulleken believes that it is because of their steady pursuit to learn and evolve with the ever-changing landscape of the building and construction industry.
